The town of Porthmadog has an excellent range of shops, 3 supermarkets, plenty of different types of restaurants and take-away outlets, an excellent Leisure Centre with an indoor swimming pool, golf driving range and Links Golf Course.

 

It is only a short drive from the beautiful and world famous Portmeirion.

 

Beautiful beaches at Borth y Gest are within a couple of miles away by car, or even less by foot. The long beach at Morfa Bychan is also only 2 miles away and, for a fee, you can take your car onto the beach.

 

There is so much to do in the surrounding area with Criccieth, Harlech, Shell Island and Dolgellau all within a half hour drive. Or, go to Beddgelert, Betws y Coed or to Llanberis.

 

Whatever you want to do, walk, climb, sunbathe, swim, ride bikes, all are available in the local area to give a fun filled holiday, even if the sun doesn’t shine!
